
Kathmandu, March 3 (RSS): A joint training for lawmakers of the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) began at the Parliament Building at New Baneshwor today.
The training was conducted to impart insights to the lawmakers that they have to consider in the activities of the House.
Likewise, the training is aimed at ensuring strong presence of the left alliance in the Parliament and ensuring uniformity in the parliamentary activities as well as supporting the party unification bids.
Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have reached the Parliament Building at New Baneshwor.
In the training, former speakers Subas Chandra Nembang and Onsari Gharti would provide training on parliamentary process while both the chairmen would address and give training to the lawmakers of the left alliance.
The lawmakers of the left alliance from both the House of Representatives and National Assembly were directed by the UML and Maoist Centre to appear for the training.
The swearing-in ceremony of the lawmakers of the federal house is scheduled for Sunday.
