
Kathmandu, Aug 13: A Standing Committee meeting of the CPN (UML) has been taking place today for the first time after quitting the government.
Secretary of the CPN (UML) Party Office, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, said that the meeting has been called to hold discussion on different issues including situation after the formation of a new government, party’s role and expansion of party’s provincial committees.
The review of party Chairman KP Sharma Oli led-government would also be carried out in the meeting, it is learnt.
The meeting has been called at 3:00 pm. Oli had tendered his resignation from the post of PM on July 24 after CPN (Maoist Centre) withdrew its support from the government. RSS
