Ballot boxes and papers sent by the Election Commission have arrived in the district, said district election officer Keshab Singh Bhandari. “The total 457 new ballot boxes have arrived. We have more than 150 ballot boxes in stock,” he said, adding that voter education programmes started at all wards.

The election materials are ready to be transported to their respective places (polling stations), he said.

Likewise, the process of the distribution of nomination forms and voter’s list verification has been on, the district election office said. RSS
