A press statement issued by party central office chief secretary Krishna Poudel Saturday has urged them to not indulge in violence and attack against the NC candidates and supporters, referring to such incidents observed in some places in the country. “A vehicle carrying NC candidates from Nawalpur Bishnu Kumar Karki and Bishnu Lamichhane were attacked with improvised explosive device (IED) by the alliance at Hupskot rural municipality-5 Gojapokhari this morning,” reads the statement.  

The press statement further reads that Rajkumar Dhungana, NC’s Okhaldhunga Rural Municipality-3 election publicity campaign coordinator was also attacked by the left cadres last night.
