Government for accelerated economic development: PM Oli

Bhaktapur, Aug 25 (RSS): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government with the communist majority was working in a way to achieve rapid economic and social development.

Inaugurating the Madan Bhandari Asian School at Kharipati here today, PM Oli said the government efforts were concentrated on achieving prosperity for the future generation.

“Sustainable economic development is the top priority of this government led by the communist party oriented towards socialism,” he asserted, adding that with the balanced relations with China and India, Nepal would launch metro rails connecting both countries.

According to him, conflict management is over in Nepal, so time has come for development and prosperity.

On the occasion, former Prime Minister and senior CPN leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said it was now the responsibility of CPN to lead the activities for country’s prosperity and economic development.

He also suggested the present government initiating for the establishment of Madan Bhandari Asian University.

Similarly, leader Bam Dev Gautam said the government needs to utilize the opportunities.

The school to last for three weeks has the participation of 50 persons from 14 countries, including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Argentina, Brazil, Philippines, and South Africa. It is the residential orientation.

The first batch of the school is named Pushpa Lal. Such residential school orientation will continued in the future too.

The participants would be instructed about Marxism, Leninism and communism.

Various communist leaders including the international ones will provide orientation, said coordinator Pramesh Pokhrel.
