Lahan, Aug 18 (RSS): Police have recently arrested a person accused of killing his wife. He was held from Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality of Siraha district.

Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Siraha, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madhav Rimal, said that Prameshwor Yadav was arrested on the charge of murdering Sonitadevi Yadav, 32.

Prameshewor had murdered Sonitadevi on June 20 attacking with khukuri. Since then, he had been absconding. Police arrested Prameshwor from his own residence.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two persons on the charge of their involvement in robbery. Rs 2.5 million  was robbed from a proprietor of Rajaram Sub-Money Transfer at Kalyanpur Municipality, Ramraja Shah, on August 9.

The robbers Kamalesh Kumar Mandal, 22, of Siraha Municipality-14 and Mahesh Kumar Yadav, 25, of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-2, said Rimal.
