Kathmandu, March 31: Former Finance Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, who was injured when he fell down on the stairs of his house at Bansbari in Kathmandu on Wednesday noon, is receiving treatment at Grande International Hospital in the Capital.

Mahat’s aide Ramesh Mahat quoted doctors as saying that the bone of Mahat’s left heel cracked and he will be operated on Friday.

Meanwhile, NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and other NC leaders and members of parliament reached the hospital and took stock of Mahat’s health condition. RSS
