Kathmandu, April 7: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said meaningful support of all side was necessary to strengthen country’s freedom, integrity and sovereignty.

Addressing the preliminary general assembly of the ‘Posta Bahadur Bogati Memorial Foundation’ established in memory of leader Posta Bahadur Bogati at Party Headquarters, today, Chairman Dahal stressed that all nationalist parties should be united in view of the ill- efforts being hatched from different quarters to enfeeble country’s sovereignty and integrity.

Stating that national unity should be maintained, he argued effective implementation of the new constitution could address the dissatisfaction surfaced in the country.

Genuine demands of Madhes-based political parties could be addressed, he stressed.

On a different note, he said that process carried out for the unity among Maoist parties has reached closer to its logical conclusion.

The UCPN (Maoist) had established the ‘Posta Bahadur Bogati Memorial Foundation’ under the leadership of party General secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

Bogati passed away on September 15, 2014 due to brain hemorrhage and heart attack.
