PM suggested for focusing his India visit on strengthening bilateral ties

Kathmandu, Sept 13:Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been suggested for focusing his upcoming India visit on further strengthening the bilateral ties and ensuring enforcement of past agreements.

In an all-party meet called by the Prime Minister at his official residence, Baluwatar today for having consultations about his state visit to India from September 15-18, he was urged for centering the visit to further consolidate the bilateral ties existing between two close neighbours.

Talking to media emerging the meeting, Nepali Congress leader Bharat Khadka said not an individual but the country’s Prime Minister was embarking on the visit to a southern neighbour and there should be no question regarding it.

Efforts should be made to taking the bilateral relations to a new height during the PM’s visit, he said, expressing his hope that the PM would set out for New Delhi with a high morale and be able to boost up country’s image and prestige through the visit.

Federal Socialist Forum Nepal leader Ashok Rai informed media that they wished PM Dahal a successful India visit and they believed that it would help improve ties with India that got strained lately at political level. RSS
