The settlement built on the initiations of comedian artists Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali), has 47 earthquake resistant-houses for flood-affected Dalit families at Santapur.

The settlement has community buildings, temples, clubs and a view tower as well. It cost around 59 million to complete the project that had kicked off in September last year.

According to Foundation chair Sitaram Kattel, the settlement features disabled-friendly, child –friendly and environment-friendly structures.

This is the fourth project constructed under the Foundation.
