Kathmandu, July 28: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called on the government not to leave any stone unturned to rescue those affected by the recent incidents of natural disasters in the country, and to provide them relief materials and for their rehabilitation.

The President made such prodding to the government during her meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bhim Bahadur Rawal at the President’s House on Thursday, said the Office of the President.

On the occasion, Minister Rawal apprised the Head of the State of losses of lives and property caused by the recent water-induced disasters across the country and efforts being taken by the government for the relief distribution, and rescue of the victims.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun was also present on the occasion. RSS
