Kathmandu, Aug 3: The Nepali national cricket team has been announced to play in the ICC World Cricket League Championship in the Netherlands this month.
A selection committee comprising ICC representative Venkatapathy Raju, the chief coach of the national team Jagat Tamata and captain Paras Khadka announced the 15-member squad.
The team includes Khadka (skipper), Gyanendra Malla (vice-captain), Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sharad Bheswakar, Sompal Kami and Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari, Raju Rijal, Karan KC, Anil Mandal, Sandip Lamichhane, Bikram Sob, Rajesh Pulami Magar and Sunil Dhamala.
Nepal will play two matches against the hosts Netherlands on August 13 and 15 at their home ground. The ICC selected the national team by sending its representative at a time when the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is under suspension. RSS
