A bomb placed by an unknown gang exploded while a gathering of leftist alliance began dispersing following the meeting.

Those injured in the blast are- Sita Rai, 31; Jaibik Rai, 7; Laxmi Saha, 45; Ratna Bahadur BK, 54; Kunta Khatri, 48; Gopal BK, 39; Dil Maya Rai, 45, and Yamuna Kafle, 50, said the police.

Among the injured, Yamuna and Gopal have been receiving treatment at Chandranigahapur hospital, while other receiving fatal injuries have been sent to Chitwan for treatment.

Spokesperson of the District Police, Ram Kumar Dani informed that search for those involved in the explosion was afoot.
None has owned up the responsibility of the blast. (RSS)
