Police said the jeep (registration number plate Ba 14 Cha 6330) was used by Om Krishna Karki for the purpose of election campaign. Karki is the State Assembly member election candidate from Bara district constituency-4.

The vehicle has suffered general damage and no human casualties have been reported in the bomb blast, it is stated.
