According to the Election Commission, Bajura topped the turnout rate with over 80 per cent voters casting their ballots.

Further details about the voting are being received from across the country (32 districts), the EC said.

The first phase of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies were held in 32 mountainous and high hilly districts from 7:00 am to 17:00 pm today. The twin elections are taking place in remaining 45 districts on coming December 7. (RSS)
