Talking to RSS at the Ministry today, Minister Pandit said as absence of employees in the provincial and local level was hampering works, any employee not reaching their duty station would be expelled from the job.
According to the Ministry some 293 civil servants are yet to report to their respective duty station in the provincial level.
The Minister said a list was being prepared of the employees not reporting to their duty station.
He also said that voluntary retirement scheme would not be applicable when there was lack of staff in the country. “Only those who are unfit for work physically and mentally will be given voluntary retirement,” he said.
According to the Ministry, some 9,700 civil servants have applied for the voluntary retirement scheme.
