Chitwan, Oct 28 (RSS): Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘ Prachanda’ has said Chitwan has drawn the attention from various quarters of life including from abroad. 

Speaking at a programme organised to announce the physical infrastructure and transport-related programmes of Bharatpur Metropolis to be operated in the current fiscal year, the former prime minister and lawmaker who represents the Chitwan-3 in the House of Representatives announced to develop Bharatpur into a model metropolis and Chitwan, a model district, of the country. 

Recalling his Saturday’s meeting with the Prime Minister, he said the prime minister vowed for maximum support for the construction of a cricket stadium of an international standard and a city hall at Bharatpur and this was his (PM’s) message for the Bharatpur folks. 

Also speaking on the occasion, former finance minister and CPN’s general secretary Bishnu Poudel said the Bharatpur Metropolis could be developed into a model local level throughout the country.
