Chitwan, April 4: Minister for Home Affairs, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, has directed the local administration not to allow anyone halt traffic in any pretext.

Issuing directive to the Chiefs of Chitwan-based government offices here today, Home Minister Basnet said that the local administration should carry out works in order not to allow traffic halt even if for five minutes as no one has right to obstruct traffic.

He said that there was no compulsion to obstruct traffic as all political issues could be settled through discussion and dialogue.

Minister Basnet also asked to carry out works maintaining peace and security of the district and urged them to support for the implementation of the new constitution.

Stating that the office should be responsible towards people, he said that people should not face problems due the cause of officials.

He also directed the employees to keep people’s work on the top priority. RSS
