
Kathmandu, April 26: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has released the name list of the house-owners eligible for receiving the quake grants in worst-hit different 11 districts. The name list of 300,961 households in 393 VDCs from 11 districts were released by the NRA.
The NRA spokesperson Ram Prasad Thapaliya informed that such name lists were reached at the District Development Committee office through the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development.
According to him, eligible households for getting grants are 15 thousand five from Okhaldhunga, 21 thousand 114 from Sindhuli, 30 thousand 519 from Ramechhap, 49 thousand 751 from Dolakha, 35 thousand 308 from Sindhupalchowk, 40 thousand 264 from Kavrepalanchowk, 38 thousand 235 from Nuwakot, five thousand 417 from Rasuwa, 23 thousand 440 from Dhading, seven thousand 412 from Makawanpur and 34 thousand 496 from Gorkha.
Other such name lists would be gradually published after completion of detail study, it is learnt.
After signing grant agreement, the house-owners would be provided grants in three installments of Rs 50,000, Rs 80,000 and Rs 70,000 respectively, NRA sources said.
The grants will be given to the owners whose houses were fully damaged by the April 25 devastating earthquake last year. RSS
