Kathmandu, April 26: Minister for Health and Population Ram Janam Chaudhary has said that it was not the time of changing the government but the time to run the reconstruction projects.

Speaking in an interaction on ‘Gorkha earthquake and health’ here today, Minister Chaudhary informed that they were formulating new policy to effectively run the services.

The Ministry was working out to run the health services in any critical period either in natural disasters or epidemic.

The Ministry was preparing special policy to regulate the health service considering the last years’ earthquake and its consequences that severely affected the health service in the worst hit districts.

Minister Chaudhary informed that the Ministry will deliver effective services even in emergency situations after developing the mechanism with new policy.

On the occasion, Dr Jos Vandelaer, World Health Organisation Representative to Nepal said that the health sector in Nepal was delivering notable services to the quake hit areas during the tough time and it was praiseworthy. RSS
