Parbat, April 26: A person died on the spot, while nine others were injured when a passenger bus met an accident at Karadi of Huwas, the southern part of Parbat on Tuesday.

Of them, condition of three—Kumar Khamja, Chokmaya Khamja and Purnakala Khamja– is critical. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Kumari Khamja, 55, of Kalikakot-9 of Syangja.

The bus (Ga 1 Ja 2485) was en route to Tribeni of Parbat from Kalikakot.

It fell some 40 meters down from the road while taking a turn in bending. The injured have been taken to Waling of Syangja for the treatment, according to the Area Police Office Huwas Police Inspector Khagendra Khadka. RSS
