Dhankuta, May 1: As many as five persons were injured after lightning struck them at Dandabazaar-7 of the district last night.

The injured are Mohan Khapangi, Bharat Kumari Bajagain, Sharmila Limbu, Kopila Bishwakarma and Asim Bishwakarma of the same place, police said.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Dharan based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, police added.

Similarly, the lightning destroyed here based poultry farm causing loss of about 500,000 rupees. RSS
