Rasuwa, May 1: A 55-year old woman has been murdered here on the charge of practicing witchery.

Tulu Sarki Thing of Yarsa VDC-9, Ghurmu was murdered on the charge of witchcraft.

Police have arrested Kanchha Sherpa Thing, 27, Lawang Buti Tamang, 40, and Chhenarbu Tamang of the same location on the murder charge, said Abdesh Bista, Rasuwa police chief.

According to police, she was buried in the nearby forest after being beaten to death by the attackers. RSS
