Kathmandu, May 4: A fresh earthquake measuring 4.0 in the Richter scale has been recorded with an epicentre around Kalikot this afternoon, according to the National Seismological Centre.

This follows the 4.2 Richter scale quake registered four days ago with Bajhang as its epicentre.

The number of aftershocks of the April 25 Gorkha earthquake however is on the decline, with fresh quakes now being registered though in small magnitude, said Chief of the Centre, Lok Bijaya Adhikari.RSS
