Kathmandu, May 5: Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba and UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have today held discussion on the latest political developments.

In the discussion that took place at the UCPN (Maoist) chairman’s residence at Lazimpat the two leaders talked formation of the national unity government and implementation of the constitution among other issues.

The meeting between Deuba and Dahal comes at a time when the UCPN (Maoist), a partner in the present government, has made it public that it has decided to take initiatives for forming a national unity government under its leadership.

Only the political developments in the country in recent days were discussed in the meeting, the UCPN (Maoist) chairman Dahal’s secretariat stated.

Likewise, Dahal and CPN (UML) vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam also held discussions on the contemporary issues. RSS
