Dang, May 10: A person died and two others were injured after a SUV rammed a motorbike near the Haripauri School in Tulsipur today.

The Scorpio SUV (Ga 2 Cha 1044) heading towards Tulsipur from Ameliya rammed the motorbike (Ra 2 Pa 816) en route to Shitapur from Tulsipur at 10:30 am killing the motorcyclist, said Krishna Prasai, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Area Police Office, Tulsipur.

The deceased has been identified as Bijaya Dhital of Tulispur – 18. The SUV driver, Yam Bahadur Dangi, 26, of Hemantapur of Bijauri – 4 and bike’s pillion rider, Manish Lamichhane, of Ghorahi were injured in the mishap.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Rapti Zonal Hospital. Police have blamed high speed for the accident. RSS
