Nawalparasi, May 19: Preparations for celebration of 2560th Buddha Jayanti are in full swing at Ramgram Stupa of Nawalparasi which contains the relics of Gautam Buddha.

Buddha Jayanti Fair Organizing Main Committee Coordinator Shambhu Upadhyay shared that necessary preparations are being carried out on a war footing for the celebrations of the Buddha Jayanti at Ramgram Stupa of Nawalparasi on May 21.

The main features of the fair, among others, include celebration of Buddha birth anniversary, sports and cultural programme, talk programme on Buddhist philosophy, photo exhibition, documentary screening and food festival. RSS
