Pokhara, May 21: A cycle journey started from Fewa Lake of Pokhara to Rara Lake of Mugu from Friday with an objective of promoting tourism business of Pokhara ruined due to Gorkha earthquake and agitation of Madhesi Morcha has reached Surkhet.

A total of 29 people including a foreigner have been participating in the cycle journey organised by the Birauta Club where Cycle City Pokhara is co-organiser.

Advisor of the Cycle City, Niraj Thapa, said that the journey, started with an objective of promoting tourism establishing relation between Fewa Lake and Rara Lake, would reach Jumla today and would spend night there.

The members of the journey team, however, would take help of vehicle in remote areas.  The team would also spend 24 hours in Rara Lake as well as would return after observing culture of Mugu district, it is learnt. RSS
