Sindhulimadi, May 23: The national convention of CPN (Maoist) Revolutionary is going to take place in Kathmandu on June 19, according to CPN (Maoist) Revolutionary Vice-Chairman CP Gajurel.

Leader Gajurel shared so at a press conference organized by the Party’s District Committee in Sindhuli Chapter at Sindhuligadhi in Sindhuli district today.

Gajurel said that the no any protest will be launched at the moment in view of the national convention but he asserted that the Party’s several associations will be reformed.

Referring to some of the party’s cadres quitting the CPN (Maoist) Revolutionary, Gajurel compared the act with the wind sweeping unwanted leaves off the lane. “As some of our cadres and leaders have quit the party, the Party now is regaining its purity sullied by some of black sheep,” he ranted.

Leader Gajurel further raved that party’s leaders and cadres walking out on the Party would not affect any agenda of the Party.

Dismissing the rumours widespread by the UCPN (Maoist) about the unity among all the communist parties in the country, he commented that the rumour was spread with the vested interest.

However, he hinted that unity could be forged with the incumbent government’s coalition partners –UCPN (Maoist)- for the issues related to insurgency. RSS
