Nawalparasi, May 24: A person was electrocuted at Majauni of Jahada VDC of Nawalparasi this morning. The deceased has been identified as Parushuram Chaudhary, 50.

He is the CPN (UML)’s regional in- charge for Nawalparasi constituency no.5 and is the district secretariat member.

The incident took place due to power leakage in an under-construction building, the police said.

Chaudhary’s last rights will be performed today itself. He is survived by his spouse, three sons and two daughters. RSS
