Morang, May 26: A man was killed when a van collided head-on with a motorcycle (Me 7 Pa 4708) he was riding at Tarabari in Damak-13 of Jhapa today morning.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Bimali, 24, of Shanischare-7 in Pathari. Police took under control the van (Ko 1 Cha 1504) and the driver.

Meanwhile, an elderly man was killed after being hit by a motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 2881) at Malekpur VDC-3 in Saptari today.

Local resident Punar Sah, 70, breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, police said. RSS
