Surunga (Jhapa), May 27: A four-year-old girl died after being rammed by a motorbike near Bhadrapur Bus Park along the Birtamode – Bhadrapur road stretch of Jhapa this morning.

The girl has been identified as Roshan Pokharel of Bahundangi – 2, District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa said.

The motorbike (Me 4 Pa 8682) heading towards Bhadrapur from Birtamode had hit the girl child two days ago and injuring her seriously. She died in course of treatment at B & C Hospital, Assistant Sub Inspector, Yam Khadka said.

Police have detained the motorcyclist and impounded the bike. RSS
