Gulmi, June 4: The Gulmi District Court has sentenced Gambar Singh Chhantyal of Wami VDC-7 to five years in jail for raping a nine-year-old girl.

A bench of district judge Matrika Prasad Marasini on Friday slapped the imprisonment against Chhantyal, according to registrar at Gulmi District Court Shyam Birahi Maoure.

Police arrested Chhantyal and filed a rape case against him at District Court in June last year. Chhantayl has been sent to Gulmi District Prison. RSS
