
Kanchanpur, June 6: The regular classes at the Far-western University resumed today after padlocks were removed on Vice Chancellor and Registrar’s offices.
The classes remained obstructed for nine-days after CPN (UML) aligned All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) padlocked the Vice Chancellor’s office with various educational demands.
On the other hand, Nepal Student Union (NSU) aligned to Nepali Congress padlocked the Registrar’s office alleging that the Registrar insulted NC leader in social networking site.
The two parties agreed on removing the obstruction during a meeting held at the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur three days ago. The padlocks were removed on Sunday, ANNFSU Joint Secretary, Narendra Karki said. RSS
