Biratnagar, June 6: Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal, Kamal Thapa, has said that the government has focused its attention towards economic prosperity and constitution implementation by resolving country’s existing problems.

Talking to media persons at Birtanagar Airport today, DPM Thapa stressed that all political parties should support the constitution implementation and development of the country without unnecessary protests.

He further said that the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and the then UCPN (Maoist) had played significant role in constitution writing and added that the RPP-Nepal supported it with reservation.

Stating that eight governments were formed in nine-year period, the RPP-Nepal Chairman said that there would be negative impact of this political instability on the people and urged the political parties to think what type of message would be disseminated in international arena through frequent change of government like this.

He further said that the word ‘consensus’ has now been misinterpreted in the country. DPM Thapa, however, said that the government has been making preparation to hold local bodies’ election in November and urged the Nepali Congress to be ready for the same. RSS
