Rautahat, June 9: Two people were injured in a petrol bomb attack in the district today.

According to the Area Police, Chandranigahpur, general strike enforcers had hurled the bomb on a truck (Na 16 Kha 4615) at Paurahi Jungle along the East-West highway for defying the shutdown. The Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist has enforced the general strike across the country today.

The injured in the incident are truck driver Balram Bhandari and helper Basanta Magar. They have sustained injuries on head and other parts of the body and are undergoing treatment at local hospital. RSS
