Udayapur, June 10: A 29-year-old pregnant woman being prepared for a surgery died of a sudden cardiac arrest at the District Hospital, Udayapur on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Januka BK of Sonapur of Purana Gaighat in Triyuga Municipality – 3, it is learnt.

The woman was rushed to the hospital after she went into labour last night. She died of a heart attack when preparations were being made for a surgery, District Hospital, Udayapur, Chief Dr Bishnu Bahadur Basnet said. RSS
