Rajbiraj, July 5: A man who threw acid on his wife, leaving her seriously wounded has been arrested by police. The incident took place Monday.

Amal Ram of Belhi Chapena VDC-7 of Saptari, 40, reportedly threw acid onto the face of his wife Betani Devi Ram. The victim is being treated at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital, the District Police Office Saptari said.

Police are trying to find out the motive behind this violent assault. RSS
