Kathmandu, July 9: Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh today said the consensus that would be forged among the political parties should not only be for a scramble for state power.
Addressing a meeting with NC cadres organized by NC Kathmandu – 1, Singh spoke of the challenges faced by the country in fully implementing the constitution. There should be agreement along with the implementation of the constitution, he added.
The leader said it was sad that the party president – despite a long time after the 13th General Convention – has failed to expedite works including nomination of party officials as per the party statute.
Singh mentioned that the same person who once criticized earlier leadership of not running the party as per the statute now understood how difficult it is to run a party. RSS
