Kathmandu, July 15: CPN (Maoist Centre) today said it is not prepared to support the passage of bills related to the budget as the incumbent government has been reduced to minority.
The party headquarters’ meeting which took place at CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s residence at Lazimpat, wrapped up with the conclusion of advancing the bills and Act in connection with the budget only after the formation of a new government.
The CPN (UML)-led government has completely been reduced to minority after we quit and a no-confidence motion has been registered at the parliament against the government, so it will not be appropriate to advance the bill and we have decided to forward the process only after formation of a new government, said CPN (Maoist Centre) Spokesperson, Pampha Bhusal.
The meeting touched on latest political development, formation of the new government and the overall political scenario. The meeting also discussed the party’s policy in the government, Bhusal added. The meeting will sit again on Saturday morning. RSS
