Bhadrapur, July 24: Over 259 houses were inundated in different places in Jhapa district due to floods in different rivulets.

As many as 25 houses in Panchgachhi, 16 in Garmani, four in Dharmapur, four in Rajgadh, 25 in Mahabhara, 25 in Bhadrapur Municipality and dozens of houses along the river side of Kankai River, Mechi River were inundated, said DSP Hari Prasad Sharma.

The flood affected people have been shifted to the safer zones. Security personnel have been mobilized in the risky zones. RSS
