
Kathmandu, Sept 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, at the invitation of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, left here today for New Delhi for a four-day state visit to the southern neighbour.
PM Dahal is accompanied by his spouse Sita, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak, among others.
Speaker Onsari Gharti, Deputy Prime Ministers Bimalendra Nidhi and Krishna Bahadur Mahara, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies, Chief Secretary, government high-ranking officials and chiefs of three security bodies were at Tribhuvan International Airport to see off the PM and his entourage. Besides, lawmakers and CPN (Maoist Center) leaders and cadres reached TIA to bid adieu to PM and party Chair Dahal.
On the occasion, a contingent of Nepal Army offered a guard of honour to the Prime Minister.
During his stay in New Delhi, PM Dahal is scheduled to meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, his Indian counterpart Modi and hold other official meetings.
He will return home on coming September 18. RSS
