Morang Oct 8: Madhesi Janadhikar Forum ( Democratic) Chair Bijay Kumar Gachhadar has spoken of the need of introducing the constitution amendment proposal to the House shortly after the Chhath festival.

During his meeting with party cadres in Biratnagar Friday, leader Gachchhadar said the issues of Tarai-Madhes be addressed soon so as to create atmosphere conducive for holding the local poll within coming mid-March.

The constitution amendment was not only the interest of the Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center), the major ruling partners, and the government should take all political parties into confidence to find a smooth way for bringing the amendment proposal, he said.

The country would continue to face problems until the effective enforcement of the country’s main law was guaranteed, the leader from the Madhes said, emphasizing on unity among the NC, CPN (UML), CPN (MC) and the Madhesi parties for the same. RSS
