Kathmandu, Nov 14: Lawmaker Bhakti Prasad Pandey passed away in course of treatment at Nepal Cancer Hospital, Harisiddhi in Lalitpur district this morning. He was suffering from cancer since a year. He was 62.

Pandey was the lawmaker from the CPN (Maoist) under the proportional category.

He is survived by a son and two daughters.

His body would be kept at the party central office, Perisdanda Koteshwar from 9:00 am to 11:00 am tomorrow for paying tributes. RSS
