Kathmandu, Nov 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today paid tribute to lawmaker Bhakti Prasad Pandey, who died on Monday.

At a condolence meeting held at the CPN (Maoist Centre)’s central office in Perisdanda, PM Dahal, also Chairman of the Maoist Centre, draped the party flag over Pandey’s body.

Pandey, also leader of the Maoist Centre, was suffering from cancer for the past one year, died in the course of treatment at Nepal Cancer Hospital, Harisiddhi, Lalitpur.

Speaker Onsari Gharti, ministers, leaders and cadres of various political parties including the Maoist Centre were present in the condolence meeting.

Meanwhile in a condolence message, the Maoist Centre wished that the families, relatives and friends of the deceased would have fortitude and courage to bear the loss. RSS
