President, PM express grief over India train accident

Kathmandu, Nov 20: President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, on Sunday, sent separate messages of condolences to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi respectively on the loss of lives of large number of people when the Patna-Indore Express train derailed near Kanpur in India early Sunday morning, mentioned a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In their messages, the President and the Prime Minister expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to their Indian counterparts and through them to the bereaved families. They have also wished early recuperation of those injured in the accident. RSS
