Baridya, Dec 3:  A total of 35 people had lost  their lives to attacks from elephants in the past 17 years in Bardiya.

The data made available by the Bardiya National Park shows that such a number of individuals were killed by wild elephants in a period from 2056 BS to the end of the month of Bhadau this year.

The government provided the victims’ families with  compensation of Rs  25,000  to Rs 100,000. RSS
