Kathmandu, Dec 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed confidence on the implementation of the constitution through the consent of all political parties.
In a meeting with American ambassador to Nepal Alaina B. Teplitz at his official residence at Baluwatar today, PM Dahal said that the incumbent government was holding talks with different political parties to forge consensus to implement the constitution.
Prime Minister Dahal further said the transitional justice would be managed being based on reports of Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Prime Minister’s secretariat has stated that the Prime Minister had asked the US ambassador regarding the recently held presidential election in US and the future of Nepalese living there.
Similarly, ambassador Teplitz expressed satisfaction over positively going on peace process in Nepal saying that the US was always on the side of peace and progress in Nepal.
She assured that the recently held presidential election in US will have no negative effect to Nepalese and Nepal. RSS
