Parsa, Dec 10: The schools in Parsa have closed down due to excessive cold from today.

The Natural Disaster Management Committee – Parsa meeting presided over by Chief District Officer (CDO), Keshav Raj Ghimire, on Friday took the decision to close down all the schools in the district for a week.

Due to the cold wave blowing across the district for the past six days and the resulting dip in mercury the children have started falling ill, so the decision was taken to close down the schools for a week, CDO Ghimire said. RSS
