The complaints received from the public through Traffic police mobile apps, facebook, twitter, viber and other forms of media are being studied and acted upon, SP at the Division Milan Basnet said. Photos posted by the public of drivers violating the traffic rules are being used as a medium to reach to the traffic violators and take necessary action against then, SP Basnet said.

The traffic police usually receives more than two dozens of complaints in a day. Currently around five to seven traffic violators are facing action everyday from the traffic police. RSS
